Job DescriptionA specialist entertainment agency in South Devon are seeking a new Content Creator to join their growing team.
What you'll be doing
Working within a team that services artists and performers both in the UK and internationally, you'll be primarily tasked with creating and editing website copy to best showcase the acts.
This will include selecting and editing the most appropriate promotional images and videos of each act. And as the content is mostly for digital purposes, there’s a requirement to ensure that all copy is SEO-rich and web pages are optimised accordingly to ensure they appear in search engines. You’ll then help to increase back-links to these pages, as well as updating featured acts and videos across the homepage and landing pages.
Aside from the artist content creation, you’ll also be writing articles and features on the entertainment and events industry and you’ll help on increasing the exposure and output on social media too.
Finally, you’ll be tasked with contacting artists and performers around the world to feature them on the website.
What experience you need
We're looking for motivated and switched-on professionals with solid creative writing experience, as well as a good grasp of both search and social techniques. You must be able to write and rewrite content from scratch and the ability to edit photos and videos is highly advantageous.
A confident and outgoing personality is essential, and you must be able to thrive in fast-paced environments. An interest in the entertainment industry is also imperative and a relevant degree is preferred.
