Job DescriptionAptus Recruitment is working on behalf of an organisation based on the outskirts of Plymouth that is looking for a Purchase & Sales Ledger Coordinator on a full time basis for a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave in their office.
Your new job:
As Purchase & Sales Ledger Coordinator you will be joining a company that has the community at the heart of their organisation. As a local charity, they endeavor to maintain this ethical approach to all aspects of what they do and are looking for like minded individuals to join them. Your job will be to manage the purchase ledger of the charity. This will involve the collation and preparation of monthly pay runs and ensuring invoices are checked, authorised and posted correctly.
Reporting into and working closely with the Head of Finance, you will join an established team, supporting the full service function which is delivered to both external and internal customers. As well as the finance team, you will work closely with other departments as well and build strong working relationship.
The ideal candidate:
We would like to speak to candidates who have experience in a similar role, working with finance databases and have hands on experience with purchase and sales ledger. Strong administration skills and knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Excel would also be essential for this job role.
You will have strong morals, considerate towards team members and external/internal customers and strong communication skills.
Salary and Additional Information:
£18,000 - £21,000 pro rata
Please note this is a maternity contract which will last 6 - 10 months
